Volunteer Presenter Call‑Out
Join East Lancs Radio
East Lancs Radio has been on air for 8 years, serving Ramsbottom, Bury and the wider East Lancashire community. Due to family commitments, our live output has reduced — so we’re now looking for remote volunteer presenters to help keep the station sounding fresh.
If you’ve ever wanted to present your own radio show, this is your chance.
We’re Looking For
- 1‑hour or 2‑hour pre‑recorded shows
- Music‑based, specialist, themed or general entertainment
- Presenters who can record from home
- Friendly, reliable hobby broadcasters who love radio
What We Offer
- A station with 8 years of continuous broadcasting
- Professional branding, imaging and scheduling
- We handle automation and playout — you focus on your show
- Your programme broadcast across East Lancashire and online
What You Need
- A microphone and basic recording software (Audacity, Mixxx, VirtualDJ etc.)
- Ability to send your finished show as an MP3
- A passion for radio and connecting with listeners
Get Involved
No live broadcasting required. No complicated streaming software. No pressure.
Just record → send → get aired.
